Sicilian Wine Dinner

Just off Italy’s southern coast is a little island with a whole lot of flavor. Sicily’s volcanic soil and coastal culture have been producing delicious food and wine for centuries, and on Tuesday, February 26th, you can experience some of its finest with a Sicilian Wine Dinner not to be missed! Featuring wines from Arianna Occhipinti, Marco De Bartoli, Passopisciaro and Romeo del Castello. Joined by Carl Moberg of Louis Dressner Selections, who will be sharing the stories and history of these beautiful wines and producers. 

 First Course ~ Swordfish Crudo: burnt honey, calabrian chilis, salted pistachio, oregano
 Occhipinti SP68 bianco 

Second Course ~ Celery Root Broth: whey, root vegetables, confited egg yolk, anchovy

Third Course ~ Wheat Busiate Pasta: walnut & roasted onion pesto, red table salami, charred eggplant

Fourth Course ~ Family Style: Braised Pork Cheeks and Clams Assorted Sides: smashed chickpeas, rosemary, garlic soffritto braised greens grilled beets, lemon, capers Romeo del Castello Etna Rosso Allegracore & Passopisciaro Rosso Sicilia 

Fifth Course ~ Dark Chocolate Cake: vanilla & gorgonzola ice cream, streusel topping 
Marco De Bartoli Marsala d’ Oro Vigna Miccia
